EDTA

EDTA

EDTA Blood Collection Tubes are intended for use in hematology laboratories to collect whole blood or EDTA plasma samples for the examination of various blood cells. These tubes are manufactured from transparent PET or glass, with caps made from polyethylene or optionally rubber, based on customer requirements. Each vacuum tube features a purple color-coded safety cap with a rubber piston for secure sealing and contains a Tri-potassium Dihydrogen Ethylenediaminetetraacetate (EDTA K₃) solution that acts as an anticoagulant when the tube is inverted. The tubes are available in both sterile (gamma-irradiated) and non-sterile forms and come in various sizes to suit different laboratory needs.
